Does this fit better with HG/RG/EG models, or is it sized for MG?
Answer
In my opinion it is brst for MG since the stand arm is taller. I do think you need an adapter to plug the smaller models in (you can find them in action base 1) EDIT: it comes with an adapter

This base is clearly designed for 1/100 (MG) scale models. Smaller models (1/144, HG, RG, EG) look a little out of scale. But it's not terrible. I use it for my HG models all the time.

Just glue the railings on!
Okay I really like this base but fair warning the railings suck and after getting them barely in position I covered them in plastic cement!

nice base, terrible build
The build for this thing is just awful. The instructions aren't great. The runners aren't clearly labelled. The plastic is stiff and brittle. Many parts need to be filed just to make them fit. I really can't recommend this on the basis of the build experience.
But the finished product is pretty nice. It's a well-detailed action base with a lot of nice gimmicks and scenery. It looks good, and it makes your models look good. It's hard to stay mad about the build experience when it's looking fantastic on my shelf.

awsome if you plan to put on some effort
I had this base made for a local gunpla tournament, and here are my opinion on pro, cons, advise, who should get this base, and overall opinion
1- Pros:
a) fully customizable base
b) comes with a decent waterslide decals
c) good shelf presence
2- Cons
a) instruction are hard to follow and there is a mistake in the instruction regarding the back storage boxes
b) the fence will always look crocked
c) looks plain out of the box
3- Advice:
if you are planning to get this. you have to put some effort in painting it, otherwise it will look like a regular plain stand
4- who should get this base:
I would 100% recommend this base if you are any of the following or a combination of them.
a) an intermediate builder who is familiar with sanding and paint using brush or Gundam markers.
b) you have built a cheap kit before
c) you have built an MG kit or a harder and more complicated kit(RG)
5-overall opinion:
it's a very good base if you plan to put the effort to it. I recommend this base over other bases. but keep in mind that the base may not fill all kit sizes. mine barely fit.
NOTE: THE BACK OF THE BASE USED IN THE PICTURE IS NOT PROVIDED WITH THE KIT, IT WAS CUSTOMIZED TO FIT THE WIRING AND THE ELECTRONIC PARTS.
